There's Manos everything these days. That's what happens when a public domain movie reaches cult status, I guess.
There's multiple Manos sequels that have been made too. More than one has Jackey Neiman Jones, little girl Debbie in the original film, who was the daughter of the actor who played The Master and was an MST3K fan long before they ever showed Manos. It came as a huge surprise for her too. She's a very sweet lady who has used her minor fame to teach online painting classes, something she and her father both have/had a talent for.
Although I would have to say this is my favorite ever Manos-related thing.
This is Elizabeth Ito, creator of the animated series City of Ghosts, at the Emmy Awards (after winning, obviously).
I played this through to the end today. It took maybe an hour for me as someone raised on NES games. It might take someone else a bit longer as there is a lot of challenging platforming in the later levels. I think it’s fun and worth the $4!
I played another several levels as Torgo after unlocking him as a playable character. I wish he had different attacks or abilities, but it’s a fun bonus nonetheless.
