Still, I like to think that the lights are "noisy" while the darkness makes the sea "silent". That's why I was concentrating on this message.I can see that ... I was thinking of it like a modern day dystopia myself ... an image of loud artificial technology disturbing what would have been the sight of a silent sea. A stark reminder of what we thought was creating beauty and modernity is just another layer of brash ugliness covering up an already beautiful and wondrous world.
