SovCits used fake ID to access Parliament, Government House, police say
Members of a group believe they are exempt from NZ law used fake ID to reach the PMs floor, according to a police presentation.
The police powerpoint presentation, released to Stuff under the Official Information Act, said members of sovereign citizens group Mauri Nation used fake ID to reach the Prime Minister's floor at Parliament.
The presentation from the Police Security Intelligence and Threats Group in November last year, does not say whether the Prime Minister - then Jacinda Ardern - was present.
I'm kinda excited we have our own SovCits, it feels like we're coming up in the world.
We've had them for some time now. Mostly quoting US stuff that doesn't make sense.

The lack of critical thinking on display here is so disappointing. The whole SovCit movement is quite sad. These are people who obviously feel they have no control; so they use magical thinking to feel in control of their lives...
