I’ve just had to return a printer and the company asked me to print out a returns label. 😳
29 0 ReplyThis is due to a murder that happened at an IKEA a couple of years ago. The murderer used knives from the department store.
17 1 ReplyVery sad. Here's a source for this if anyone's curious:
12 0 ReplyBut...someone could still stab with these scissors, no?
5 0 ReplyAnything can be a weapon if you really want it to

Well you'll need to buy another pair of scissors to open that pair. But then you'll need to buy another pair to open the pair you just bought. But then...
11 0 ReplyI also imagine these scissors getting progressively smaller until you have to buy tweesers to handle the scissors you use to open the scissors you bought to open...
1 0 ReplyJust one more scissor bro. It'll fix the whole problem bro I promise.

Curb Your Enthusiasm did an episode on this...
10 0 ReplyUse a knife ;)
11 1 ReplyThat won't help, you need scissors to open the packaging for knives from IKEA.
15 0 ReplyFire solves all. You can use the charred, denuded knife blade.
Here's how to make one with stuff from IKEA. (Invidious link)

Just use a nail clipper, safer than using a knife.
9 0 ReplyThat's a pretty good idea

That's why you use a kitchen knife for everything 😂
9 0 ReplyI once bought a screwdriver that literally needed another screwdriver to open the packaging. 🤦♂️
9 0 ReplyWhat kind of packaging requires a screwdriver to open? Either I've never seen that before or I've been opening things wrong....
3 0 ReplyIt was screwed into a hard plastic “case” thats only purpose seemed to be to have a hook so it could be hung on the store’s shelf.
3 0 ReplyThere are some kids toys where they hold the toy in place in the cardboard packaging by having a screw go through a little plastic plate, through the cardboard and then into the toy. I always found these really wastefull and anoying to open.

LOL. thats when you put in a screwdriver and twist!
5 0 ReplyPut tip of one pair into the zip tie of the other pair and twist. Obviously open the second pair with the zip tie from the opened scissors.
5 0 ReplyIt's usually at about this point that I resort to tearing at things with the teeth of an (unimportant) key. Sometimes works.
4 0 ReplyA finely serrated knife will work nicely.
4 0 ReplyThat's what teeths are for.
3 0 Replyif you cant open those scissors you shouldn't be allowed to use them.
3 1 ReplyJust yank
2 0 ReplyTIL people don't own knives.
4 3 ReplyPerfect application for teeth
6 0 Replyor know the screwdriver twist technique.
5 0 ReplyWhat if they had a knife allergy and had to use scissors instead?

Buying scissors because you don't have scissors is infuriating?
2 4 ReplyThey're strapped together at the handle. OP needs to cut the strap to use them...
