Champagne sales are down. Why aren't people buying the bubbly like they used to?
Luxury giant LVMH says Champagne sales were down 12% in the first half of the year. Execs say people don't have enough reason to celebrate.
This kind of reminds me of this article which posed the questions why millennials aren't buying diamonds anymore.
Brother I just need a house and some food, I can't afford diamonds even if I wanted them. That said I realise there is plenty of champagne that doesn't break the bank. I just prefer red over white for both sparkling and non-sparkling.
