This is the song that got me into the genre. And if you get a chance to see The Midnight live, it's well worth it. They put on a fantastic show!
I saw them for the first time back in October after a friend got me hooked on their style. Synthwave is definitely a genre I need more of. I keep rewatching a video someone made at the concert, and it's nothing short of fantastic.
Oh man Lonely City is a fantastic track anyways but that one live hits a very niche spot in my soul. Endless Summer is classic too. That video is a great example of them live even if it doesn't have the fullness of the feeling of actually being there. When that sax hits it's just a whole other kind of feeling. I was able to be right at the stage with that in my face and I damn near lost all composure. I now understand what these guys were going through.

Vampires was the second single from The Midnight’s debut album, “Endless Summer” and focuses on how while people need other people they all end up alone in the end.
