How many projects do you work on at the same time?
I used to be a "one project at a time" kind of stitcher but lately I get sidetracked by other projects that I give out as presents so it's always at least two at a time.
Now it gets kind of difficult when I have a deadline for one but I also have to do it in secret... While living with that person and spending a good chunk of my free time hanging out with them! So for the past two weeks I ended up making...about 100 stitches in total 😅
Erm. Well I just looked around my immediate vicinity and there are 4 cross stitch projects, plus one crochet thing and two knitting within arm's reach. Then there's all my current sewing stuff, a mostly complete macrame wall hanging and other hibernating projects upstairs...erk.
I have four; two of them are ridiculously large and I've done less than 0.5% on each - but it's the thought that counts, right?
The other two are much smaller but still quite large and I've been focusing on one of those a lot more, since it's a gift that the person knows they're getting.
I'm still very new to this hobby, so I'm still just doing one project at a time, but I do already have like 3 more projects lined up and I've considered starting one of them already
Usually two, that way I can procrastinate one project by working on the other. I like to sew and embroider my clothes also, but sometimes I cannot wait for the embroidery to wear it. The embroidery get's done when the clothing is out of season.
I have like 5 projects currently but a couple of them are small and others are kits I picked up on vacation when I didn’t have my main project with me. I like to be 1-project-kind-of-person but sometimes I need a break and just do something simple.
My ‘main’ WIP is The Shire and it’s a bit advanced and hard to do while watching TV 😂
I think her Etsy was closed, but Boosty and instagram works to buy her patterns. I have all the ‘snow globe’ ones and are slowly working my way through them.
