So sad to see the platform die ... it had so much potential

Looks like ernest was away when it went down. He is handing care of the instance over to others, so it sounds like it’s not dead yet!

I feel bad for the guy. It can’t be easy running an instance (that’s still in beta, technically) while also dealing with health problems.

He’s put a ton of work into Kbin, and I love how it is actually able to connect mastodon and lemmy. It also gives users a lot of control over the type of content they can see, even down to the domain level. To my knowledge, it’s the only one that does that.
