All eyes are now on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
This merger will never end will it?
Good. I know this deal is probably inevitable but the continued consolidation of media companies is such a bad thing for consumers.
I have seen some good arguments that this acquisition is good for gamers though. Activision doesn’t care about gamers that much. However, Microsoft games division at least shows it wants the best for gamers.
I’m against a lot of mergers, but the games industry is still highly competitive with all the other producers and developers, imo.
Not trying to be combative but that sounds like some serious copium. Microsoft doesn’t fucking care about gamers, it cares about money. And with the lack of decent first party games I don’t know why anyone thinks this is a good thing for us.
