Moe knew. He always knew.
Behind that gruff facade was a man who wanted to make people happy. He knew what Bart wanted from those calls and gave it his all.
Moe is canonically a good guy with kids or atleast showed as one with maggie

Moe never found out who was prank calling him, so referring to Bart by his name shows this is a fake edit.
