It's grassy, but fatty.. quite a strange flavour profile. Has anyone ever sprinkled brown sugar over half an avo and just gone to town? It works sweet as well!
What you said is how I've thought of it too. Fatty grass. Which does not sound good haha. I recommend splitting, pitting, and filling the holes with cottage cheese. A little black pepper on top too.
It took me a long time to warm up to avocado. My biggest complaint was that it had very little flavor. I love it now, but I still think it’s quite subtle. It’s more a creamy vehicle for other flavors than anything.
