‘Her fake honour’: Caroline Mulroney was called to Ontario bar three days before getting ‘King’s Counsel’ title #ONpoli
The title of “King’s Counsel” is intended for “lawyers who have demonstrated a commitment to the pursuit of legal excellence in service to the Crown, the public and their communities,” the Ford government said Friday.
Transportation Minister Caroline Mulroney was called to the Ontario bar just three days before the Ford government announced she was getting a special title for lawyers that has been widely denounced as a patronage honour, the Star has learned.

She's so unqualified it's painful.
Oh, it totally was a patronage honour. QC and KC had more or less been abandoned in Ontario because of abuse of the honour, and right out of the bat it's back and this is how it's used?
