Google has detailed a new smartphone technology that could put the company’s Google Pixel smartphones one step ahead of iPhones and Samsung Galaxy handsets.
A recent patent application is suggesting that Google is going to replace the notch with an under-display front-facing camera in future Pixel phones.
To be honest, if the camera was positioned in the average place where a person's eyes would be in a video call, then we'd finally have eye-to-eye conversations.
But as usual, I want to be able to tell where my camera is, so that I can put some black tape on it.
Don't they already have a solution for that? Not sure about Android but I remember FaceTime having an option to make it look like you're looking into the camera instead of down to the center.
