Most modern games are garbage though.
Always online, drm/denuvo, kernel anticheat, micro-transactions, loot boxes, using AI upscaling and framegen instead of caring about optimisation, TAA smearing...I honestly believe AAA gaming peaked somewhere around the end of the 360/ps3 era.
Indie games are still great though.
If they enjoy saying N'wah a little too much, that might be a red flag.
