Expired rights then why does it say Amazon original if it's not originally theirs
7 0 ReplySeasons 1-3 were produced by SyFy, who I assume still owns the rights to that content. Amazon picked up the rights and wrapped it up (one of two good things Prime Video has done so far in my opinion).
13 0 ReplySyFy don’t have the rights either, which was a big reason they cancelled it. The rights stayed with Alcon for the whole run.

That doesn't mean they originally made it. It's just that they had it on thoer service first.
It's stupid and misleading, but that's what they do.
6 0 ReplyThat just means they aired the show on its premiere in that particular territory. Which they did for the later seasons.
