[email protected]' account is only 9 days old and the ONLY comments he has made on Lemmy so far are about me.
Otto doesn't like me from back before the election (on .world); because I voted 3rd party. He used a different name back then. I was then banned from .world for advocating 3rd party before the election, so I found new instance (and I don't post on .world anymore).
This made him mad because he misunderstood fediverse and thought I would be gone forever when banned from .world.
So he now creates "Universal Monk" accounts on multiple instances. Using my username of "Universal Monk." Then he tries post to .world, the instance I was previously banned under. Because instead of "[email protected]" (my banned name), he posts under "[email protected]" (one of his accounted created with my username.)
Right after he posts a new Universal Monk account to a community that I was previously banned from, he makes a report to a bunch of other instances that I really am on, and calls me a "ban evader" and requests I be banned. He's going doing it for every instance, one by one.
**Couple of things are stupid about that: **Firstly, why would I attempt to ban evade under the same username?! Pretty easy to ban me a second time when you see me using the same name. If I wanted to ban evade, I'd just come up w a different user name, and post wherever I wanted to.
Secondly, one of the reports he made was to my own instance.
So he unknowingly reported me to my own personal instance. And he made the "ban evasion" report just minutes after he created the "[email protected]" and posted to c/[email protected].
For some reason, he thinks that I will get banned from the entire fediverse for ban evasion. But all that really happens is the fake accounts just get banned.
I reported to .world admin as soon as I noticed it.
He's really mad at me. But he's not that smart.
I'm not banned from this community or this instance, which is why I am still posting here.
If you do a search for "Universal Monk" and sort by "new," you'll see that the username of Universal Monk is on over 20 instances. Most are not actually me. I did spread out over a few so I don't have to lose communities if I get banned from one, but I sure as fuck didn't sign up for that many. And I'm not banned on my core instances because I don't do anything ban-worthy. lol
Lemmy, man... Some of these people really, really need to go outside. They take it way too seriously! lol
Funny how your account is only 9 days old and the ONLY comments you have made are about me.
There’s that paranoid delusion I was talking about. Of course, anyone can just look through your comment history and see why everyone hates you. Especially because you brag about it on your user profile.
No wonder you got banned from so many instances that you had to spin up your own, lol
But more crazy rants are definitely gonna convince everyone, lol
Not sure what you are talking about. Not dodging any bans, not a new username, and I haven't gone anywhere.
Where have I posted that I was banned from? Care to clarify? Ban evasion means coming up with an alternative name to continue posting to communites/instances where you have been banned.
I don't do that. I'm not banned from this community or this instance.
You do realise that the whole point of the fediverse is so that you can go to any instance you want to--just so that one person or one group of people can't control the narrative.
Welcome to the fediverse. If you want an echo-chamber, please go back to Reddit.
Not only that, I am posting from my own instance. Yep, we can create any instance we want. Isn't the fediverse awesome?!
I'm not leaving Lemmy. Even if it annoys you. Accept it.
Oh and you can stop creating Universal Monk accounts on other instances. I let them know what's happening. I just reported to .world admin what you did.
Dude, why would I ban evade using my own name? And why would you create a fake account using my Universal Monk name, post to a instance you know I'm banned from, then log on under your otto name and try to report it. Did you not think anyone would see timestamps? You realize that's all public info, right?
