Vintage story is pretty cool too, if you're looking for a longer advancement ramp
Fair warning though: Vintage Story is vveeeeeerrrryyyyyy slow paced and involved. Making a pickaxe for ex requires you to find copper nuggets scattered on the floor, making a mold, heating the copper in a crucible, casting it, then waiting for it to cool.
Yep. The long advancement ramp should be seen as the enjoyable point of the play, not a speed bump. If you aren't built that way, it won't be fun
