But no other dev can use RCS on android?
Is it limited to manufacturers? Samsung messages support it too.
Looks like Google messages, Samsung messages, WhatsApp, Signal, Pulse, Chomp, and SMS Organizer (Microsoft), all have RCS enabled right now. Personally I like Google messages.
Signal dropped SMS support specifically because they couldn't use RCS, I thought?
