I'm not talking about the people going underground part or them not knowing why they are there, but the parts were lots of things are hinted at or plot bits dangled and then it just turns out there aren't any answers.

No, From is the new Lost. It's so good though, I highly recommend it.
This is 100% correct but it's good as I got older it's the characters that make it interesting so the mystery is just a bonus.
I just hope the ending is a bit more satisfying.

Aw crap that's what I started to think on the third episode or so with the radio and light shenanigans.... I've just started watching it.
I hope they have some idea of where is this meant to go.
