Lemmy is losing so many potential new users because the UX sucks for the vast majority of people.
What can we do?

I don’t know. I loved Apollo for Reddit and Voyager does a pretty good job of emulating that feel.
Of course I’m not an average user since I’ve been in IT for 30 + years.
