Yes, I think that the idea of having a cop hovering over my conversation, dictating who can talk and what they can say, is abhorrent. I admit it.
So I asked. Discussion happened. Some of it hot. Some of it useful. It was going places.
Then the mod of asklemmy bans the whole show.

You should be able to show your posts and comments (they are still visible to you even though the post was removed). Without that, it's difficult to give an opinion.
The AskLemmy post and many of the replies were phrased more like it was just bitching/moaning that all of Lemmy isn't some freeze-peach free-for-all rather than any kind of conversation starter.

The modlog says "trolling/sealioning" for my ban. It doesn't say anything about the removal of the post. Or the removal of a some of my replies. So I can't get a link there.

Yeah, he removed half my comments too. Just made a mess of the whole thing. (And by "he" I mean one of the mods of asklemmy, who's actual id is hidden for... his protection or something. Goddamn this petty oompaloompa shit gets old.)
