In 2024, people struggle to believe the fact that individuals are complex and often contradictory. The fact it's impossible to look at Crooks and say definitively "he did it because he was an x who thought y," etc. is incompatible with how most people process new information these days.
We believe there's something fishy because Trump is a lying liar who lies and will do anything for attention and ego. Do you think he practiced that fist thing? How can there be that level of failure by police and secret service to stop the shooter with 30 minutes notice, plus his ability to get a drone into the area beforehand. And what's up with the shoes? Something is just not right.
