Men who shave...
How often do you shave? How long does it take you? How do you do it?
Just curious as it feels like a chore for me. I usually do a with the grain shave with a safety razor and no product since I don’t have a lot of time and that gives the least irritation, but it’s not a close shave. I see guys that get stupid close shaves and I often wonder how much time they spend on it.

Men over 30, At what point would you consider an enlarged prostate an issue?
I recently had my prostate examined, and the doctor told me that it was enlarged, but at this point not enough to need to do something about it (They told me that it was approximately double the normal size!)
I got the message that it was not a question about having to do something about it, but more of when. When I asked, when they thought this would be the right time, I was told, that when it becomes a problem
My question is, when do you consider a prostate enlargement, a problem. Sure peeing more often, and it taking longer time, is an inconvenience but not a problem as such.
What are your suggestions?

[Meta] Would you be interested in a monthly random chat thread? Any other type of content?
The community is pretty quiet so far, so I wanted to see if people wanted some regular topics

Men over 30, have you ever been in a legit confrontation with a stranger?
Have you had a confrontation with a stranger before in person? Whether it was a argument, fight, scream match, etc? Do you regret it? What happened?

Men over 30, what is the hardest part of balancing a work / home life?
Would it be making the time for vacations or gatherings? Or if your job requires overtime, you lose out on the time with your family. Do you ever speak up about it or just let things even out?

Men Over Thirty, what's your opinion on getting the snip?
For context, I got mine done just over two years ago. No complications (as of yet...). I've also got two kids already.
A few guys at work were absolutely baffled by my decision, and I even heard one was questioning my masculinity.

Men over 30, anyone use a toupee/"hair system"?
Edit: People, I didn’t ask for your opinion on if I should shave it. If you don’t have actual experience with the topic in question please stop replying, its not helpful in the slightest.
Saw a video on YT and looked kinda interesting, but trying to find any more info just led to shops and channels that don’t seem legit in the slightest.
Any real people got experiences with them?
Do you have to replace them often? prices look a bit much to be purchasing often.
How do you deal with say not being able to use it if it breaks, do you just go balding until you can get a new one and freak everyone out who only knows you with nice hair in the interim?

Any good fiction/story driven books with life lessons for men in their 30's?

Looking forward to see everyone's recommendations

Men Over Thirty. When it comes to dating, what's your age cut-off?
So I've got a friend at work; just turned thirty. He's perhaps not the smartest tool in the shed, and whilst he does look thirty, I think if we were guessing his age by his level of maturity, we'd place him fairly squarely in the 18-22 age range.
Anyway, 30 has had this ongoing thing with this girl at work. She's 19. He sees nothing wrong with it, and whilst that may be true from a legal standpoint....most of us think it a bit ... untoward at best.
This post isn't about him though. It's about you. What's your age cut-off, both high and low for dating?

Men Over 30: What's one recipe or dish that you'd consider your go-to
I've never been much of a cook, but it's something I'd love to try and get better at. I've got a growing family and as much as freezer food is serving them now, when they're older I'd like to be able to cook them something genuinely nice.

Men over 30, how old do you think is the oldest a man can be to become a father?
Sorry for the weird phrasing, English isn't my first language.
I know men can theoretically have kids at whatever age, but there is still a limit to how old you can be to take care of your child.
-
Men over 30, how often do you see your friends?
I guess the answers are going to vary a lot depending on people's familial situations, but curious to see the answers.

Men over 30, what has been your experience with therapy? Did it improve your life?
Asking as I see more and more people talking about mental health issues, and curious to see if people could share their experiences.
-
Have you seen men around you completely changing career in their 30s? How did it go?
Curious to see if people have experiences to share.

Trying to revive this community. What are your best advice for a health long-term relationships in your 30s?
I've been in a relationship for a bit more than a year, everything doing quite well so far, looking forward to advice to how to make it last.
We are already planning to a have a "date night" every two weeks to get away from the daily routine.

How do you decide what to do with your beard?
One of the downvoted posts in this sub showed up in my feed so I figured I'd pop over and ask y'all a silly question.

How do you handle the insane entitlement of women on dating apps?
I don't think I've spoken to a woman on Tinder who is actually interested in dating. The majority of them don't ever reply, the few that do put zero effort into the conversation and often just want money. Once in a while a woman agrees to meet then just doesn't. What the actual fuck? How do you guys handle this bullshit?
Before I get called an incel 1000 times, I am already doing everything right. I'm in therapy, I exercise every day, I eat healthy, I have diverse interests and several friends. I have paid people to review my profile and conversations and everyone agrees I am doing everything right.

Making this community come alive
Hello everyone,
Just to let you know that I will submit a request to take this community from the current mod, who is known to be a community squatter: https://lemm.ee/post/1040968
My plan is to
- add this community to https://sub.rehab/ to increase visibility to new joiners
- post some relevant content so that people don't see an empty page when they have a look
- once the content is there, contacting the Reddit mods to see if they would allow a post promoting this community
Pinging @[email protected] as you seemed interested in this community
Edit: we should probably develop [email protected] first and then move from there

Hope this community takes off!
Was seriously one of the friendliest subs over on the platform which shall not be named, would be nice to see some familiar faces returning, or a new community of equal qualities forming over here.
