Remote working Management tool

*** Sys Admins,

Looking for the best system or method for employees to state they are working remotely of in the office. We are currently reviewing or fire safety proceures and one major item is determining who is in the building and being able to produce an employee checklist.

We have a door system, however

  1. it does not track outoging staff
  2. Tailgating is a big issue.

We are a heavy office 365 enviornment, so it would be beneficial to integrate for ease into 365.

Was initially thinking an office 365 clock in system that simply requests are you remote working or office working. Allowing staff to switch to remote if they leaving for meetings during the day. currently the line of thinking is a simple power app that will produce a 30 day log.

Note; we are not looking to track employee productivity, soley if they are in the physical building or not.
