After Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014, the Italian steel company Danieli Group developed into a major player in the Russian steel industry, the engine of Putin’s war machine. Even after the full scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the company continued to serve Russian steel manufacturers.
