I want to see Russia try and build a tilt rotor now.
A coaxial tilt rotor, at that. Maybe it can cause twice the accidents then.
Using an existing engine from a fixed wing aircraft that can't autorotate, meaning an engine failure anywhere other than forward cruise would be fatal.
