People may grumble about Apple's higher monthly fee, but there are a lot of original series packed in their lineup that many viewers haven't yet considered.

I think a lot of people think iPhone/Mac when they think about Apple and doesn’t understand it’s a streaming service like everything else and not something tied to your iPhone or Mac.
My job everyone gets an iPhone as work phone and I told multiple coworkers to use the 3mo free Apple Music and Apple TV offer that comes with their phone but everyone said nah, they just use Netflix and Spotify. It’s so hard for people to try new things.
I think Apple's closed ecosystem is coming back to bite them in the ass on this. It isn't hard to see that people would easily assume you need an Apple to do Apple things.
