Bitwig Studio 5 introduces five different MSEGs, new capabilities for our Clip Launcher, an overhaul to our browsers, and upgrades to the entire modulation system.
Some interesting new stuff, though I personally wish they'd prioritize general workflow stuff like retrospective recording instead of modular components. I can't imagine ever wanting to modulate project controls, and I'm too invested in hardware synths to want to design sounds in their grid environment. I know it opens up vastly more possibilities, but I just don't have the patience for it when sound design isn't my end goal.
Interesting, Bitwig has always been so appealing to me but it's hard to say goodbye to Ableton Live and learn all the ins-and-outs again.
