I was shown an ad to an electric note device. You write by touch and erase by pressing a single button. Reviews said accidental writing and erasing happened often, and once the battery runs out there's no way to use it anymore. very useful when I want to write 5 words but don't feel like it's important enough for a post-it. No electricity needed, no accidental writing, quarter of the price, and fall damage resistant.Reminder: Look up and live
I can lift the board way up and write. No glare.
There's a rather famous story about the first space race - the US spent millions on developing a biro that would work in zero gravity - and failed to do so. The Soviets used cheap pencils.
That urban legend is only sort-of true. NASA also used mechanical pencils at first, but they're flammable. The money invested in the space pens wasn't paid by NASA. And once the space pen was released, the Russians used it, too.
Interesting. Never knew the money wasn't paid by NASA.
Looks fun. Not every problem needs a Rolls Royce solution. Cheap and simple is often the most environmentally friendly too. A basic white board could also do the trick.
I have white boards for more permanent things. I like this for super temporary things because I don't have to cap/uncap the pen, or pick up a detached eraser to wipe it.
