Easy access Stagazing outside of Nampa?

Will be visiting for the Tool show in October. Staying in Nampa. Where would be the quickest/safest/coolest/private place to drive to at around midnight on a Saturday to Stargaze from the side or a little off the road. Its a new moon that night and thought it would be cool since there is minimal light pollution vs Los Angeles (where Im from)
