What UI design trend do you hate the most?
I personally hate rounded corners and shadows added everywhere. Makes most things look crappy and smudged.

It's like the old saying (which made more sense back in the CRT days):
If I wanted your website to make noise, I'd lick my finger and drag it across the screen!
Yeah, my favorite is when a site tries to shame my adblock usage by telling me it can't play an unrelated and unsolicited video
Autoplay videos are a scourge on humanity.
For cookies popups, look at the browser extension I Still Don't Care About Cookies. It blocks all the cookies popups and works very well. The website can't track you because you didn't click consent. Just make sure to use the version with still in it's name, it's a community fork since the original was bought by Avast.
uBlock also has filters to block those notifications, along with blocking virtual assistant popups, notifications and other annoyances. You just need to enable them in the settings
