Hi everyone. I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in a weekly "what have you been listening to" thread? I usually have music playing while working and I'm always looking for new stuff, so I'm hoping to pivot off the community's tastes.
With that said, here's some questions to hopefully get us started:
What songs have you had on repeat this last week?
Who were your most listened to artists?
Did you discover any song that you just had on repeat?
Any upcoming releases you're looking forward to?
Let me know if this is something everyone would be interested in!
Last week I discovered ALICE (or Elris or 앨리스). I really liked You and I, but POW POW was pretty much all I listened to on repeat. It's been super catchy.
Otherwise I continue to listen to Bibi's Lowlife Princess album. I think that's my second most played album of all time now!
Above & Beyond puts out a playlist every week called Group Therapy. I think it comes out on Friday or Saturday, but I usually start my Mondays listening to the new one. If you're interested in trance/techno, it's worth checking out.
According to last.fm, my most listened to artists were Above & Beyond, aname, Led Zepplin, Pixies, and D.O.. I seem to have had a non-kpop week for the most part.
Led Zepplin and the Pixies were both from the 1,000 albums you need to listen to before you die list, so those aren't necessarily re-listens or anything.
I've had Our Summer by TXT on repeat this last week! Such a refreshing song. As for upcoming releases, I'm definitely looking forward to Either Way by IVE.
Thanks for putting this together OP.
This is based off of my lastfm, but:
What songs have you had on repeat this last week? Fast Forward by Somi
Who were your most listened to artists? Twice
Did you discover any song that you just had on repeat? Not necessarily k-pop, but i discovered a korean rock band called The Rose - their latest song, Back to Me, is an incredible song!
Any upcoming releases you’re looking forward to? Kiss of Life just announced their second album, so I'm really excited for that one
