We shouldn't all be vegan, but we also shouldn't (literally) consume so many animal products

Not at all. I believe that humans do best when eating meat and that animals can be raised and slaughtered humanely without harming the environment. The problem is that it isn't profitable
Raising animals already depletes a lot more resources than just farming
No, but that said, we could probably do with eating less meat and animal products and more veggies.
