Two of the main Freedom Convoy organizers, Tamara Lich and Chris Barber, are charged with mischief, counsel to commit mischief, intimidation and obstructing police.

Lich and follow convoy organizer Chris Barber are scheduled to stand trial in Ottawa starting Tuesday for their role in the three-week protest that overtook the streets around downtown and sparked a national emergency declaration.

In the final days of the demonstration, as police began to order people to leave, organizers and supporters used “hold the line” as a rallying cry, as words of encouragement and as a salutation.

Good. I hope they get the book thrown at them. Their stated purpose, which they put on their website, was the overthrow of our government and it's replacement with a junta with them forming 2/3rds of it.

I wanna know how much money they made.
I hope the solution to their trial is CA and the US hold a joint venture to drop them in the middle of a fffn deserted island and leave them there.
There is zero accountability with the government. The state can declare "an emergency" over a peaceful protest that scares the shit out of them, freeze protestors and supporters bank accounts and then rake the protest organizers using lawfare.

Where is the accountabiliy for this government over-reach? Frickin brutal.

- They blocked the city, filled the air with toxic fumes, left excrement on the streets, were not allowing people to sleep in their own homes and all this for 3 weeks. Let me remind you that private companies didnt want to tow the trucks and it took police forces from multiple places in Canada to remove the protestors, the Ottawa police force didnt have a chance to do it on its own. The state of emergency was justified.
