Silo ... Holy crap, if what we think happens to the main character at the end of epsiode 8 actually happens, I think that's a TV first. I don't want to be too specific to give anything away, but goodness! is everyone in my household looking forward to the next episode.
Star Trek Voyager. Yesterday, I watched Alter Ego from season 3 which featured this memorable scene:
Yep! That's the mighty half-Klingon B'Elanna Torres being strangled by a cheerful holodeck entity wielding a Lei of Strangulation +5.
Jokes aside, there are some really good episodes in Voyager. I think Season 2 is my favourite so far.
So you know, my hope of a TV-first were dashed unfortunately.
As far as Silo as a whole is concerned, the first episode is definitely worth watching. It's easily the best of the series so far. The rest of the season? If you're into dystopic scifi, you might latch on to it just to find out what the Silo environment is all about (like me). Otherwise, I dare say you'll likely lose interest.
I saw the first episode of the season and truly enjoyed it. The premise was excellent and you can tell the writers had a lot of fun putting it all together. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.
