The Origin of Fascism in the USA

The author uses Herbert Marcuse's One-Dimensional Man, which has its problems, but I believe that he uses, let's say, the "good parts" of that book. He also uses Louis Freina's book (a CPUSA founding member, I think) and goes against Dmitrov's definition of fascism, or rather, goes against its application to the United States and uses a different definition instead.

There are a lot of books that are mentioned in the first 15 minutes which I suggest you all either write down or type down in a document for later. But for the most part though, I would suggest listening to this while you're doing other things. You may disagree with it, though it may be something to consider because he brings up several aspects of fascism that are useful to consider, I think.
