Musk declared that "cisgender" — meaning "not transgender" — is now considered a slur on the social network.
Imagine having someone with more power than sense arbitrarily coming in and having them declare some innocent piece of language hate speech and it's use will be punished.
It would be really tough. Nobody wants to be walking on eggshells all the time like that. Totally unacceptable!
Who does he think he is, telling people what they really mean when they say a word and punishing people for what he said they said?
Straight conservatives pretending that cis is an insult is straight up bizarre, and right up there with their fake "war on Christmas". They just wallow in anything that can make them feel like a victim.
Sidenote: why anyone reasonable, including libs and most LGBTQ folks still has a Twitter account is beyond me. Twitter is literally just Gab or Truth Social now. Who would want to be associated with that?
Many biological women/men don't like the word for it to be used on them, why insist on using it while insisting that people should use certain words to identity you by even if they don't believe in them, and people get offended if they didn't do that and they also tell them what they mean as well by automatically acusing them of transphobia even if all they care about not lying to themselves or anyone else?
