2300 SQ ft 4bd 2ba, detached 1400 SQ ft two car garage with a couple storage/shop rooms, home warranty, homeowners insurance, and property taxes...
All that is a dodge under $1k a month, for a house I bought, not rented.
And I didn't get that mortgage in 1960 :) we closed on it four years ago.
Catch is that the nearest Walmart is 50 miles away... no stoplights (nearest is to my house is like 40 miles), and little traffic, so that 50 miles is only about a 40 mile drive through, and every route is the scenic route...
Maybe people should consider rural areas instead of uberdense urban :)
