Ball-in Micrometer steal from Flea Lake

So, I went to Flea lake a found this gem under a bunch of literal scrap, usually at the Lake the 4th time is everybody just wants to get rid of everything. So this guy has a bin of rusty old Chisels and Claw hammers with just hunks of metal thrown into a bin. Anyway I dig thought it and find this micrometer, and as you all know probably by this point I cannot say no to an old mic in good condition. However, as you can all see in the image it's digital so, I asked if he knew is it worked. Which I got the response of “I don't even know what it does” so I made him a Deal if the battery wasn't absolutely roached I'd buy it anyway, so he got a flathead screwdriver and unscrewed that back battery compartment and the battery looked good as new. So asked how much he wanted it for. So i he said a $1 which I couldn't argue with. Then I bought the micrometer and told him what its uses are and headed on my way. Which later I added a battery, and it works like brand new, and evidently these were sold as coolant resistant which is probably why there's no rust. And it has 6 Decimal places which kinda blew my mind, so the funniest part about of this is my most precise tool I own is a $1 Micrometer from a Flea market, go figure.

Tldr:I went to a flea market, got a Micrometer from a bin of scrap for a dollar, and it WORKS!!
