If you’re a long-time Reddit user, chances are you regret at least a few posts you’ve shared with the community. Getting shunned for sharing an unpopular opinion is business as usual on Reddit, so many users end
I can highly recommend to delete all your Reddit Posts/Comments with the Browser Add-on Reddit Enhancement Suite.
[Choose 1/3] Open Zompist’s gen. Take off the line saying “ki|či”, and click “Generate”. You’ll get some random babble like “Bepe topioi kabi brete i kropra”, copy it somewhere.
There have been some reports that Reddit is restoring deleted comments, so it's recommended that people overwrite their comments instead of deleting them.
When you use delete apps like powerdeletesuite or shreddit they cannot delete comments from private subs because they're hidden. So when those subs come back to normal mode, so will your comments. So all those people that used apps like that while the blackout is going on will have their comments appear again as subs reopen. Not saying reddit isn't also bringing comments back, (I wouldn't put it past them tbh) but a lot of it is just because of subs being private and the comments getting missed by the apps.
As someone who tends to be almost too honest, to the point of it being a problem, I bet if you browsed my reddit comments, you could find exactly who I was just based on the vague details all added up. It's just kinda fkd up that I can't control what is left up for the future.

I started going through and deleting certain comments, and leaving ones I find may be helpful in some vague way.
Please don't do this.
You can't achieve anything by being reckless & self-centred (Like how old are you, you can't process your trauma) all that will accomplish is more censorship on the internet aka more Repression/Suppression/Regression/Chaos/Divide/Disorder those are all variables that bring the worst out of people.
While they may lose content creators, the data can be used to build upon in the future for index/reference purposes.
