Just a heads up, I'm more agnostic and all, but I saw this one post where the comrades here were trying to say that God killed more than Satan and they were all praising Satan. (https://lemmygrad.ml/post/1146579)
What is this nonsense?
As I said, I'm agnostic, but even I got to admit that I would still side with God on this one.
Still think Satan only killed 10 people?
Go tell the Vietnamese, Korean, Afghan, Iraqi, Syrian, Yemeni, and Libyan people that Satan only killed 10 people and not millions of their people alone.
"But the Great Flood!1!1!1!1!"
The Flood was messed up, not going to deny that. But if, indeed, the world was populated by just half a billion people, that means 500 million people were killed by God, and only one family remained: Noah's family. Satan still is responsible for more deaths.
Satan traps the entire world in Hell every single day. You don't have to sin and die to live in hell, you just have to be a human being living in this time period where Satan rules the world. Our comrades here know that 20 million people die preventable deaths every year because of the system of Hell. Multiply 20 million times 5, you get 100 million. Satan kills as much as they did in the largest genocide (aside from the Flood) just every 5 years. Multiply 100 million times 5, you get 500 million. This means that in the past 25 years, Satan killed as many people as God did during the Great Flood.
Any nation that opposes Satan and their demonic practices is punished with starvation and poverty. We can't name any instance where God did the same. (I think)
I'm not saying God is completely innocent, because Old Testament God is extremely metal.
But then there's the New Testament, which to be fair has its own share of brutality, albeit toned-down, which very famously introduces Jesus.
You can definitely argue that Jesus has some bad teachings, but for the sake of argument, let's focus on the ones that most of us can agree are good.
"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." (Matthew 19:23-24, KJV)
Satan is in love with rich people, that is why their demons are all rich people. Thus, this message by Jesus is directly against Satan's philosophy, along with the rest of the messages He preaches.
And what do us comrades hate? RICH PEOPLE! Love or hate Jesus, believe in Him or not, we can agree on one thing: rich people will not see Heaven/communism. Heaven and communism are the exact same thing, only one is on Earth and the other is in the afterlife, change my mind.
"And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves." (Matthew 21:12-13, KJV)
One of the most tragic things about Hell is that the teachings of Jesus are commodified like crazy, just like everything else. Several pastors are ultra-rich and have a personality that Jesus would despise. If Jesus were to hear about the "prosperity gospel" and how His teachings became nothing but a commodity, He would probably be so furious that the outrage at the temple would look adorable in comparison.
Us communists hate the fact that everything in Hell is commodified, and so we can sympathize with Jesus when He gets angry that even His Father is a commodity.
If Jesus were to see demons like Bush and Kissinger who claim they love Jesus but not only fight for the preservation of Satan's evil system but also engage in horrific un-Christlike atrocities and war crimes, He would probably condemn them to the lowest level of Hell.
"Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence." (Matthew 10:8-11, KJV)
Here, you can clearly see that Jesus told His followers to heal the sick, without a single penny charged. Whereas Satan and the system of Hell prevent so many of the world's poorest people from getting basic medical care, leaving them to die. All while Satan's demonic propagandists brainwash humanity into believing that these poor people deserved it because they were "lazy".
Regardless of one's belief or nonbelief in Christianity, I pity all of the Christians of the world who believe in the superiority of Satan's system because they were taught all their lives about how it was the best system and how any alternative was the real evil. But their eyes cannot stay blind, they will open, as many of their eyes already are. They, too, will realize that such a system is run by their greatest enemy, and will work to dismantle it in favor of a better one.
The teachings of Christ are so incompatible with the system we live under. Many Christians believe this too, but just say this is how the world is like naturally, as the world to them has been inherently evil and full of sin ever since Adam and Eve ate from the Tree. But honest Christians overthrew cruel systems before, and they will overthrow this one along with the Muslims, Jews, atheists, Buddhists, Hindus, and so on. The world will still be evil in their eyes, but they will focus far more on their God's command to embrace life on this planet, not abandon it.
Never forget, comrades. We are not allies of Satan, we are their greatest enemy. We will fight until Satan and the system of Hell are destroyed. We will fight for a world where all followers of Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, any other religious leader, and all non-followers can live with true freedom and happiness.
I understand completely that it is indeed a joke, and I do not intend to make it seem like I'm taking a joke too seriously, even if it seems like I am.
Though unironically, when you look at deliberate death counts, the biblical Satan is a saint compared to God, but when you compare the God of the Bible to the Satan we have to deal with, that's a different story.
The post is supposed to be further commentary about how utterly anti-Christian our current system is despite what so many western Christians sadly believe.
The very fact we can't even properly meme about it is telling. Because while USA is the Great Satan, it should be really God. But that, while true in the light of the Bible showing God as crazy tyrant and callous sadistic bastard, would be interpreted completely wrongly by the worshippers of God and USA. So let's just keep as it is, at least it is pissing them off.
Yeah, I agree that it is incredibly hilarious to see reactionaries freak out about their God being mocked by the tankies, and I also find it hilarious when they freak out about socialists saying that Jesus was a socialist (or at least a proto-socialist) even when they (the socialists) don't believe in Jesus' divinity (or even His historical existence in some cases) anyway, as if they (the reactionaries) worship their precious capitalist system more than their "precious" God. And yes, I indeed agree that God in the Bible, even in the New Testament, is basically a tyrant as you claim, hence why he committed a genocide on the entire human population except for one family and threatens to send everyone who disagrees with him to eternal damnation.
When you just look at the Old Testament, God, despite his undeniably great brutality, is still less murderous than the Great Satan, even when you count the flood as proven above. Though when you add the New Testament, even with all the kinder language, there is also the much harsher language about eternal hell and when you count that, God is a Greater Satan than the Great Satan as even the Great Satan's hell is ultimately temporary and doomed to collapse, while God's hell never ends. God's hell technically doesn't kill anybody, but it just gives them a fate far, far, far worse than death to the point that it is called a second death.
I'm not really offended by the meme at all, and not trying to take away the fun. I really did not expect an argument to come from this post, maybe just some comments about how Satanic (from the evil bad guy interpretation) capitalism is, but not the overall negative reception this post got.
This post was supposed to be semi-ironic, where people would at first think I am trying to say that the biblical Satan is worse than the (Old Testament only, as New Testament condemns people to hell and plans rampage and genocide on entire world through the Second Coming) biblical God until they realize that I am actually talking about the Great Satan.
If anything, I do not believe that historical Jesus was divine or perfect, as the teachings on hell and some of his other teachings were horrible and indefensible (except by reactionaries), and religion is ultimately reactionary. Rather, I am trying to focus on the more positive teachings of the historical Jesus that are not taken seriously at all by reactionaries, and how they are so anti-capitalist. Reactionaries so often believe that capitalism is the system that Jesus wanted and that socialism is the way of the devil, and this post is supposed to argue why the opposite is the case.
