I absolutely don't think death threats are appropriate, but in her statement she says that she was just trying to get it off the road, which is clearly not the case if you watch or even just listen to the video. It's one thing to make an insincere apology, it's another to make an insincere apology AND try to pretend you were actually doing something good and people were misinterpreting it.
