President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Saturday said his administration is working to provide livelihood packages instead of dole out for the marginalized as Filipinos prefer to work for their families instead of asking for alms from the government.

Cash grants distributed to impoverished areas are supplemented with livelihood packages, Marcos said in his vlog.

The government has been distributing farm machineries from the Department of Agriculture, scholarships from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and livelihood packages from the Department of Trade and Industry, Marcos Jr. said.
