I actually think there some validity to this approach. The world is messy place that doesn't always conform with the idealized scenarios promoted by polemicists of orthodox economic theories.

Nvidia of course complained, but they would be willing to sell to North Korea if the PR environment was right and if there was an economic incentive on their part.
