Evergy slashes planned renewable energy additions, proposes more natural gas.

Evergy has backed off its plans to add more solar and wind power in the coming years and will keep its Lawrence coal plant open longer.

Well that's rather disappointing. You would hope Evergy would care about our future, I mean, it is their future too...
- Yeah but all the higher-ups care about is making money in the short-term. They figure they won’t be alive for the consequences and that their riches will somehow protect their kids from the shitstorm to come.
