@[email protected] I'm stuckin the iOS-verse, and use Readle’s PDFExpert, which does what you need. Unfortunately it’s only for arious shades of Apple. You may find something that takes your fancy on alternativeto.net, though.

Android (and to lesser extent iOS) is rubbish for content creation and worse for editing.Linux, Mac, Windows, or at worst a decent recent Chromebook (can have detachable keyboard, android apps and a real Linux now) have suitable programs.
Chromebooks come in ARM and x86-64 versions. The ARM is better unless you need a Linux program that has no ARM version. Older ChromeOS isn't easy to install Linux programs on. ChromeOSFlex is pointless as it has no Playstore.
