I have been working with Web technologies since 1992. I have co-founded two browser companies, Opera Software and Vivaldi Technologies. I was CEO at Opera and I am CEO at Vivaldi.
I am a strong proponent of open standards. I believe in building feature rich products that can be adapted to the needs of users without collecting information about usage. I believe no company has the right to profile their users.
@[email protected] Hi Jon, nice to meet you. I am an English-Polish translator, have been working in the field for 30 years, 2/3 of it using CAT (Computer Aided Translation) software. I respect your approach to open standards, Vivaldi has been my browser of choice for quite a long time, it quickly replaced Firefox which I long considered untouchable and indispensable. Hope you'll be able to bear the open standards flag for many years to come.
#Introduction
Hi @[email protected] ,
I have been using #Vivaldi for around 2 years. I love some of the amazing features like Page Tiling and Notes. I use MS Edge OLNY FOR its natural TTS.
Sorry for not clarifying. I love the "Read Aloud" feature of MS Edge. The voice sounds more natural than any other free "Text to Speech" engines. I particularly love this feature because as a non-native English speaker, it helps me read faster and make me feel more comfortable. Reading newspapers, long articles / blogs is much more comfortable with this feature. In addition, combined with and ePub add on, I also read ebooks with MS Edge.
