Am I getting this right? People protest against their regional politicians and managers because a flash flood warning was not issued soon enough?
Let those people resign. I am sure that the next ones on charge will be better at issuing warning for flash floods. Advanced warnings... that's the solution to making sure people are safe from extreme weather and climate change events. If we get warned enough in advance the floods will be fine.
I understand they are angry but it seems weird to me to blame the people in charge for failing to warn sufficiently in advance about flash floods, instead blaming them for doing nothing about climate change.
