This thread is meant for people to share what they've been doing this week. Incremental game recommendations are encouraged, although other topics are welcome as well. Just remember to keep it casual, be helpful, and have fun!
I've been practicing substantially at vue coding and trying to avoid too much foreign interference despite worries about incapability. In practicing it I returned to the high concept low balance games Retro grinder and Resource grid. resource grid is easier to stick to and I am getting farther then I did before. Will probably get farther in retro grinder while coding as that seems very effective.
Unrelatedly also playing games from sylvie's repertoire such as the mystery of Atlantis and trying to practice drawing as the idle of that is complementary to coding I'd say, low detail albeit. The game requires often too much commitment but I have been getting a sense of the type of unfolding game it represents, where you are not really tunneling to something bright but to unclear operations in the world of a particular person since that can be better for them then contributing from outside. Still getting a hang of the restraint for this so will see
I've been playing the Android version of Revolution Idle this week. It's a lot like Antimatter Dimensions and I don't know why I keep returning to it. Also tried Egg, Inc. but dropped out quickly.
