So there's literally no way to get access to this application? I was looking for information and couldn't find any

For me it just says TBD. When is the final release? Did they even give an estimate? Like 3 years? 5 years?
Open Beta is planned for next year, which we consider pretty much full release, but without all of the content that we've planned as the game is quite massive. Next wave is planned to start on the holidays (so a month from now), but we haven't set a date on it yet.
Indeed, they invite in waves so that they have room to scale and debug/rework and the next wave is tbd. Register on walkscape.app to get access during the next wave.
